Was quite impressed with the range of summer holiday clothing at this store and got some good bargains. This store is much improved since it's refurbishment that was done not that long ago. Always find the staff friendly and pleasant. Plenty of free parking.
Quite a large store which is laid out well. There's a large selection of men's clothing. The homeware range has increased in quality and quantity recently.

Good little local outdoors shop. Really handy for stocking up on stuff for cadets as they keep military surplus clothing as well as parade shoes and boots. They also have all the things you'd need for Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.
Don't go anywhere else in this area for your walking boots. large selection of quality, well-priced stock and knowledgable owner.

Typical cut price stack it high sell it cheap diy type store. Some products are over priced when considering quality of the items or nearby competitors however, this store has a greater choice. Wide range of products and can take a while to find what you are looking for - if you are unsure where something might be located it's best to ask the staff as you enter the store. Recently introduced key cutting service is good value if you require multiple keys to be cut. Has two areas for parking and two adjacent direct competitors.
Lovely place for a bargain. You will not believe the variety of goods they have. You name it they seem to have it.

I always thought Halfords was a particularly slimy little turd, lying in the gutter of society. Many a time have I had to fix an incorrectly built bike that came from that shop, be it forks the wrong way around, incorrectly fitted tyres or a steering column that was not straight. But yesterday my beloved new rim bent, yet Matt trued it up like new in a matter of minutes. Quality parts and excellent service, smiley face.
Excellent store, usually busy.Always try to help and found them to be very knowledgeable (car and bike) . If they don't know will try and find out for you. Would suggest that some of the negative reviews here say more about the customers than the staff, you get what you give etc.
