Local Parks & Gardens

Victoria Park

Park Cl, Malvern WR14 2JZ, UK

An all-round park..... Football pitch, skateboard area, hard area for sports such as netball, very small kids obstacle course, a larger kids play area (swings-slide-aerial run-etc:-) dogs are now required to be kept on leads. Public toilets (but council lock them at about 3p.m.) Very good cafe on site which allows dogs inside (on leads). Good selection of hot/cold drinks... light hot/cold snacks...good parking (free) gardens.

A good park for multiple age ranges, a d free parking. The rear entrance to co-op is just across the road so it's handy to pick up drinks etc.

Priory Park

Clarendon Court, 18 Priory Rd, Malvern WR14 3DR, UK – 01684 892289

It's a lovely place to go and sit and just chill out you have the back entrance to the theatre with a bar and chairs out on the terrace there's lots of large grass areas for kids to play and have a picnic has a lovely traditional bandstand that is quite often used if you go down through the bottom of the park there are some large sheltered areas with benches to set and just watch the ducks and other wildlife in the large pond the top pond and the bottom pond have got lots of very large koi fish the ducks and more than happy to come and be fed if you check out with the Malvern Town Council or the library or the visitors centre you can find out when May Day events are being held along with lots of other different types of music events quite often during the summer you will find some people up there with their ice cream bicycle there's plenty of parking around the area and if you want to make a good fun day for the kids at the bottom of the park is the splash swimming pool with slides and kids play area wave machine sauna gym steam room all in all it's a very nice area with some very old trees and one exceptionally old tree that when it unfortunately died there was enough of the good trunk left that there is been a giant carving done into it around about 20 foot tall there's also a closed off children's play park and if you want to get away from some of the hustle and bustle of the park there is a large hidden garden it's just a nice quiet area to sit and relax there's a spring water stream that runs down through the park to the main pond at the bottom it's a really nice place just spend a summer's day and if you get adventurous you can walk up into the town centre to the spring water fountain and get fresh water from the ground to drink and then you can carry on from there to the 99 steps that will lead you up on to the Hills and you can walk up and around the hills there's lots of pubs cafes and restaurants there are open day and evening all within walking distance of the park

Walk around the park...across the bridge ,see the ducks & have a drink or food in the eating place within the grounds .Sunday's in the summer have bands in the park also.lovely place to chill out for a bit .
